Maintenance Technician - Oakbrook, IL

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks across various equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Diagnose equipment issues using technical knowledge, schematics, or hands-on assessment, and complete timely repairs to reduce operational interruptions
- Repair and maintain components such as pumps, motors, valves, control systems, boilers, ventilation systems, and other plant equipment
- Support upkeep and readiness of systems through routine inspections and preventative servicing
- Take ownership of mechanical repairs and assist with improvement projects throughout the facility
- Track and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and replacement parts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment systems independently
- Self-starter who can quickly assess situations and take action with minimal supervision
