The Denture Lab Technician will fabricate and repair complete and partial dentures using traditional hand-processing tools. Working under the technical direction of a senior laboratory technician and dentist, this role supports accurate case preparation, prosthesis finishing, quality inspection, and coordination across the laboratory, with communication that may include direct dentist consultation, patient-facing support, internal laboratory coordination, and written case notes.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate complete and partial dentures.
- Repair dental prostheses.
- Prepare models for denture cases.
- Design wax-ups and arrange teeth.
- Process acrylic using traditional hand-processing tools.
- Perform occlusal adjustments.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate case information with senior laboratory technicians and dentist clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in denture laboratory technology acceptable, experience preferred.
- Knowledge of denture fabrication and acrylic processing.
- Familiarity with wax-up techniques, tooth arrangement, and occlusion.
- Familiarity with dental laboratory equipment and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail.
