Position Overview:
Our Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in homes and ensuring our customers' homes maintain comfortable temperatures year-round through effective system upkeep and repair.

Your Day-to-Day:
- System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Clean and replace air filters, clean coils, and check refrigerant levels. Lubricate moving parts and inspect belts, fans, and motors for wear and tear.
- System Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and control systems. Test repaired systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Customer Service: Communicate with homeowners to explain problems and potential solutions. Provide estimates for repairs, parts, and labor. Offer advice on system upgrades, maintenance practices, and energy efficiency improvements.
- Upgrades: Evaluate Existing Equipment by inspecting the current HVAC system to assess its age, efficiency, and overall condition. Older systems may require frequent repairs or lack modern energy-efficient technology. Check if the current ductwork, electrical wiring, and other components are compatible with newer, more efficient systems or upgrades.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all HVAC equipment and systems work meets safety standards and building codes to prevent hazards such as electrical fires, shocks, or short circuits.
- Customer Service: Communicate with homeowners to understand their heating and cooling needs, provide estimates for projects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
What Does It Take?
- 2 years of HVAC experience, service preferred
- EPA Universal certification required
- Valid Driver's license required
- Knowledge of Service Titan is a plus!
- Strong critical thinking skills necessary to adjust to the demands of the job
- Ability to obtain Chauffeur's license and DOT Card, we can help with these!

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and work in confined spaces. Technicians must be able to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds, safely use ladders, tools, and equipment, and work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
