We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience in facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
- Oversee and manage maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients.
- Experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Skills in residential painting techniques are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
