Job DescriptionAbout the Role
AAA Truck and Trailer Services is hiring a 2nd Shift Service Advisor / Parts Coordinator to support evening operations at our Bridgeton location.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in automotive, diesel, truck repair, logistics, or parts counter environments who enjoys customer interaction, organization, and working alongside technicians in a fast-paced shop.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours customers and drivers while ensuring parts flow, paperwork accuracy, and smooth shop operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Phone Support
- Answer incoming service calls professionally
- Manage after-hours gate calls
- Assist drivers and fleet customers with repair inquiries
- Communicate clearly with technicians and shop staff
Service Coordination & Scheduling
- Schedule service appointments
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to repair workflow
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up
Parts & Counter Support
- Assist with over-the-counter parts sales
- Check and manage parts inventory levels
- Process service and parts paperwork accurately
Administrative & Closing Duties
- Maintain organized filing systems
- Perform general clerical tasks
- Secure and close shop operations at shift end
Required
- GED or equivalent
- Comfortable working 3:30 PM – Midnight (Monday–Friday)
- Strong computer and phone system skills
Preferred
- Experience in diesel truck repair, automotive service, trailer repair, or parts counter operations
- Previous service advisor, service writer, or administrative experience in a repair shop
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$28/hour (based on experience)
- $1.00/hour 2nd shift differential
