Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Field Technician to join our team specializing in industrial lubrication, oil purification, and mechanical cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in hands-on, field-based work within heavy industrial environments and capable of operating specialized equipment with precision and care.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customers to ensure satisfaction and clear communication on every project.
Prioritize health and safety by following all workplace safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Perform physically demanding tasks that require strength, flexibility, and endurance, including handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials.
Remain available for emergency callouts; 24/7 availability when required.
Operate and maintain oil transfer pumps, filtration systems, and related machinery.
Perform confined space entry and mechanically clean lube oil reservoirs in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Install and repair piping for lubrication systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
Set up and operate cleaning equipment—including low-pressure, high-volume pumps—while maintaining compliance with all operational and safety requirements.
Transport, carry, and connect hoses, fittings, pumps, and other site-related equipment.
Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as pumps, breathing air systems, and tools used for tank cleaning.
Possess strong knowledge of different types of pipe and tubing connections and the proper methods for installation and repair.
Safely perform work in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
Install, fit, and repair components such as valves, caps, hoses, pumps, and gaskets.
Inspect equipment, hoses, connections, and work areas prior to job commencement to ensure safety and functionality.
Identify and report equipment deficiencies, hazards, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
Work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and high-elevation settings.
Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and storage of all equipment and PPE.
Perform general maintenance, service, and cleaning of company vehicles and equipment, including pressure washing and cab cleaning.
Maintain high housekeeping standards by keeping all work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Accurately complete and submit time sheets, job reports, and other required administrative paperwork on schedule.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

Qualifications

Prior experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or lubrication services preferred.
Familiarity with confined space entry procedures and FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) standards.
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required by project demands.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and teamwork.

Work Environment

This position involves field-based work at industrial sites, including refineries, power plants, and manufacturing facilities. Work may occur outdoors or in confined spaces, with exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, and temperature extremes.

**Travel out of town** (North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan) there will be per diem for the area
