Your Leadership Canvas:
As the Store Manager, you oversee all aspects of retail store operations and the
strategic development of your people and communities. Your key responsibilities
include:


● Strategic Leadership:

  • Oversee operating systems and delegate tasks through Key Leaders.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement new processes.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Maximize profitability and setting sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Understand and manage administrative processes.

● Team Development:

  • Recruit, develop, manage, motivate, and train team members.
  • Conduct individual performance reviews and track quarterly progress.
  • Lead and coach the team by incorporating store operating principles.
  • Model best practices for exceptional member experience.

● Community Engagement:

  • Oversee local community engagement and liaising with counterparts across all markets.
  • Act as a community connector to build relationships and foster community growth.
  • Contact affiliates to maintain and strengthen partnerships.

● Operational Excellence:

  • Focus on floor management, inventory management, store systems, communication, and guest education.
  • Oversee quality and stock control of inventory, including lifting
    boxes weighing between 10-50 lbs.
  • Ensure daily preparation and execution in all aspects of the business.
  • Maintain high impact communication through relevant channels.

Weekly and Quarterly Responsibilities:


● Weekly Tasks:

  • Meet with leadership to define goals and identify opportunities.
  • Evaluate team needs and drive performance through creation and execution of a weekly plan.
  • Manage store finances, hours, and payroll.
  • Address foreseeable issues or events and relay important information to the team.
  • Create scorecards, budget calculators, and store schedules based on
    budget and needs.
  • Support Key Leaders and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure inventory needs are met.

● Quarterly Tasks:

  • Conduct individual performance reviews.
  • Set quarterly goals and track progress of each team member.
  • Prepare analysis for quarterly store performance evaluation.
  • Work with leadership to establish and track store performance.
