Emish Market, located in Fife, WA, is a Ukrainian grocery store offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. We also feature a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, serving freshly made Ukrainian dishes, sweet pastries, and specialty meats, providing a unique shopping experience for our customers.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, preventing theft, and minimizing losses. Work Hours: 40 hours weekly, 1:30 pm to 12:30 am Thursday through Saturday
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveillance to detect and apprehend individuals committing theft or fraud.
- Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious behavior.
- Write detailed reports on incidents and investigations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
- Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills.
- Certification in Loss Prevention or Criminal Investigation is a plus.
- Guard Card certification is preferred.
