Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of a residential apartment community by performing maintenance repairs, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.

Responsibilities

Complete and oversee maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
Prioritize and assign daily maintenance tasks.
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and inventory.
Oversee work performed by outside vendors and contractors, as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
Ability to lead a team while working effectively with management and fellow team members.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the position.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
