Job DescriptionResponsible for assisting with or providing hygiene and personal care routines. Monitors vital signs, transports patients, and promotes safety of patient environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Under the direction of nursing personnel, the nursing assistant provides patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Duties include but are not limited to personal hygiene, collection of vital signs, assist nursing and/or physician staff with procedures as needed, unit cleaning and assistance with eating. Experience required.Must have current certification in CPRExperience requiredBLS Certification is requiredPosition Type: Full Time; 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Health, Dental + Vision Insurance; PTO/STO; 401(A); Short Term/Long Term Disability.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHelp patients use the bathroomClean and bathe patients or residentsMaintain patients' hygiene and change beddingTurn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and bedsServe meals and help patients eat their foodMeasure vital signs like blood pressure and temperatureListen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor
