Pickering & Company is looking for a Multi-Family Residential Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Preserve at West View in Greer, SC! Applicant must be a team player, have Multi-Family Apartment Maintenance experience, be able to work in a fast paced environment, must be organized, able to multi-task, and have excellent customer service skills. Experience in carpentry, general maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing is required. CPO and CFC Certifications are also required or be willing to obtain those licenses within a deadline of commencing employment. Weekends and on call required. Some Responsibilities Include:
Maintain community grounds clean and free of trash
Complete all work in a timely manner without sacrificing quality of work
Maintain resident retention through preventative maintenance, work orders and turns
Maintain and track all community assets
Respond to all after-hour emergency calls
Respond to resident service calls in a timely manner
The use of electronic devices for the tracking and logging of work orders and daily email management
Maintain professional behavior and effectively communicate with vendors and residents
Strong work ethic
Develop plans to improve efficiency
Be dependable - regular attendance will be required and expected
Be able to lift objects that weigh more than 10lbs and the ability to withstand sometimes strenuous tasks
Education and Licenses/Certifications Required:
Must have a valid driver's license
CFC
CPO
