What we’re looking for?
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a legal support role, defense litigation firm preferred
- Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking in a busy, deadline driven environment
- Organize and Manage: Maintain excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and meet internal and external deadlines
- Willingness and ability to perform additional tasks as required
- Self-motivated person with eye for detail is preferred
Primary responsibilities to include:
- Calendaring
- Reviewing invoices
- Transcription correspondence and legal documents
- E-filing in state (IL) and federal courts
- Typing and sending correspondence
- Scanning, filing and copying
- Scheduling meetings, depositions and making travel arrangements
