Salary: $21.00 / hr
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to assist with general property maintenance and resident work orders in Gosport, IN. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of repairs, inspections, and upkeep tasks while providing quality service to residents.
Job Summary
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
- Turn units and prepare them for new residents
- Hang blinds and complete caulking as needed
- Check plumbing and identify potential issues
- Inspect appliances to ensure they are functioning properly
- Complete repairs and address resident work orders
- Move appliances in and out of units when needed
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Experience Required
- Previous experience in property maintenance, general maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Experience troubleshooting plumbing, appliances, and general property issues is a plus

- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
- Dependable and responsive
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including moving appliances
- Professional and courteous when interacting with residents
- Ability to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment
Location: Gosport, IN
Pay: $21.00/hour
Position Type: Evaluation
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; flexible hours Tuesday and Thursday; approximately 32 hours per week
