Bedford Alzheimer's Care Center, a 60-bed nursing center dedicated to the care of individuals with memory care issues and dementia, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse at Bedford Alzheimer's Care Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. Your expertise and dedication will ensure that our residents receive the best possible outcomes, comfort, and dignity. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor and maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care according to established nursing standards and protocols

• Conduct accurate and thorough assessments of residents, identifying needs and developing individualized care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor residents' responses to medications and treatments

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, and educate residents and families on care and treatment

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to improve resident outcomes and care processes

• Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
