Job DescriptionOpenwork is searching for knowledgeable auto part cashiers. This is a temp to hire position in the Houston Hobby area. Apply if you meet the qualifications for this position.
What you'll do in this Cashier role:
- Perform various retail responsibilities
- Utilize computer program to help customers locate cars
- Identify car parts and process transactions accordingly
- Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program
- General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment throughout the yard
What you'll need:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred!
- Prior retail, cashier, secretarial experience
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Able to answer phones
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in the English language
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
Schedule:
Sunday – Saturday | 2 days off/week | 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Pay Rate:
$15.00/hr.
