Forklift Operator – Day Shift
Location: Baytown, TX
Department: Shipping & Receiving
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving operations in Baytown. Candidates must have relevant hands-on forklift experience and be able to safely operate a forklift before starting the assignment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials.

Support shipping and receiving activities by placing materials in designated areas.

Verify material quantities and use basic math to maintain accurate counts.

Perform pre-use forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.

Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Work with team members to complete daily assignments efficiently and accurately.
Requirements

Previous hands-on forklift operating experience is required.

Must be able to operate a forklift safely before starting.

Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Availability to work the 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day shift.
