The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced MSP IT Support Engineer ready to hit the ground running at a true Tier 2 level. This isn’t a help desk role. You’ll own escalated issues, design solutions, and work directly with decision makers. You’ll be trusted with projects involving networking, security, cloud migrations, and more.
What You’ll Do:
Triage and resolve advanced support requests escalated from Tier 1 covering Windows servers, networking and cloud services
Deploy, configure, and maintain customer networks, including VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls and Wi-Fi
Lead technology rollouts such as server refreshes network redesigns, and cloud migrations
Troubleshoot and remediate issues involving virtualization backup, disaster recovery and security platforms
Serve as the technical point of contact for client projects and critical issues
Communicate clearly and professionally with business owners and both technical and non-technical users
Document solutions and contribute to our internal knowledge base
Participate in on-call rotation
Who You Are:
Minimum 3 years direct experience supporting clients in an MSP or fast-paced IT service provider environment (required)
Advanced troubleshooting skills with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking and core SMB technologies
Confident handling firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and network troubleshooting
Experienced with virtualization (VMware strongly preferred Hyper-V experience a plus)
Proven track record working independently to solve problems, not just escalating
Professional and comfortable interacting with business leaders and end users
Hungry to grow into advanced networking cybersecurity or cloud roles
Industry certifications such as CCNA Network+
Hands-on with Cisco, Fortinet, or other business class firewalls
