We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team! The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs, including engine management systems, fuel management systems, transmission, electrical alignment, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.

This is a full-time position; hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, alignment, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tasks as qualified
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness and organization in the workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Technician experience required, seeking level C or B technicians.
• Must have your own tools
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Ability to collaborate effectively
• ASE certification and NC State inspection license are preferred; however these qualification are not required.
