Commercial Electrician Helpers & Apprentices

We are very busy and hiring Commercial Electrician Helpers and Apprentices for projects in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay Rate

$22.00–$25.00 per hour
Pay is based on skill level and experience.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electricians with commercial electrical installations
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Assist with pulling and routing wire and cable
• Install conduit, boxes, supports, straps, and other electrical components
• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools
• Assist with connecting wiring to electrical components and equipment
• Assist with installation of lighting, devices, fixtures, and electrical equipment
• Perform commercial electrical rough-in and trim-out work
• Assist with underground electrical installations, including digging trenches and installing conduit
• Organize, move, and handle electrical materials and equipment
• Remove and replace electrical components as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow instructions from journeymen, foremen, and jobsite supervisors
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical construction experience
• Helper or Apprentice-level electrical experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM at minimum
• Must have required PPE
• Must have basic electrical hand tools
• Reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
• Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet throughout the day
