The Shelter Assembly role involves assembling shelter components as part of a large production team. This position supports ongoing production projects by performing manual assembly tasks, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety standards. Reporting to the Team Lead or Supervisor, the role requires working efficiently without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manually assemble shelter components according to specifications
- Sort components for efficient assembly workflow
- Inspect assembled products to meet quality standards
- Handle inventory to maintain production flow
- Operate hand and basic tools required for assembly
- Comply with safety guidelines and protocols
- Package finished products carefully for shipment or storage
- Manage materials to ensure availability during production
Preferred Qualifications
- Good manual dexterity for precise assembly work
- Basic proficiency in using hand tools
- Strong attention to detail to identify defects
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures
