**Job Title: Maintenance Director for Assisted Living Facility**

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee and manage the maintenance operations at our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning, safety, and upkeep of our facility's infrastructure and grounds. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing a comfortable and secure environment for our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient facility maintenance.
- Develop, implement, and adhere to maintenance schedules and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages or system failures, to ensure the safety and comfort of residents.
- Provide training and guidance to the maintenance and housekeeping staff on equipment use, safety practices, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments within the facility to ensure seamless operations and resident satisfaction.

- monthly Fire Drills, elopement drills, new hire orientation on the building, generator maintenance.

**Qualifications:**

- have experience with TELs platform or willing/able to learn.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive working environment.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with staff, residents, and external partners.
- Proficient in using maintenance software and other relevant computer applications.
- Willingness to be on-call for emergencies and work flexible hours as needed.
