Civil Foreman- Telecommunications
Job Description
Job Description
We're hiring a Civil Foreman to lead concrete and civil construction crews on cellular and tower construction projects across North Georgia and the Southeast region. You'll run the day-to-day fieldwork — building forms, pouring concrete for equipment pads, shelter foundations, and tower foundations.
This role is a strong fit for an experienced civil construction foreman ready to step into (or continue) leading crews on technically demanding telecom infrastructure work, with a clear path toward Superintendent and Project Manager roles as you grow with us.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and oversee crew operations, including building forms and pouring concrete for equipment pads, structural shelter foundations, and tower foundations.
- Directly supervise crew — planning and assigning work, resolving issues, and keeping the crew on schedule.
- Work independently and make sound field decisions on behalf of the company.
- Perform safety inspections and keep the crew current on state/local code requirements and best practices.
- Maintain clean, neat conduit placement and consistent quality across all work performed.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the customer, communicating progress, needs, and issues to the Project Manager daily.
- Travel to job sites across the Southeast region as projects require.
What You Will Need:
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant civil construction experience (e.g., earth moving, equipment operation, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry).
- Proven experience leading and directing a crew, including journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and general job-related documents.
- Valid driver's license; must be insurable under the company's insurance policy.
- Ability to climb and work at elevated heights (rooftops, ladders) and in physically demanding, all-weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast region as projects require.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and departments.
- A safety-first mindset in every aspect of fieldwork.
Preferred:
- Grounding/electrical experience, including cad-welding.
- Experience with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors.
- Telecommunications construction experience, including NSB, is a strong plus.
- Prior experience specifically on cellular or tower construction projects.
What We Offer
- Per diem and travel expenses for overnight travel
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off
- A clear path for growth
Compensation: $25-30/hour with overtime option
Pay Transparency Statement: Pay range to be determined based on market data and internal equity.
