Welcome to Craft Coffee! This is a brand new business that will be launching at the end of October/early November. If you have a passion for high quality coffee and customer service, this is for you. Day to day tasks will include taking orders, making specialty drinks, cleaning, and maintaining merchandise. Craft Coffee will also be selling plants and local ceramics. Duties
- Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with accuracy.
- Operate a Square POS by processing sales quickly and accurately.
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently while providing friendly customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations.
- Manage cash handling procedures, processing cash transactions with basic math skills and ensuring accuracy.
- Serve customers promptly, while maintaining quality, taking orders and delivering great drink service.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience required
- Availability between Tuesday-Sunday 6am-4pm
- Ability to dial in
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- A passion for coffee
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Ability to give and receive effective coaching.
