Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished HVAC General Manager to lead operations in Boise. This individual will provide strategic direction, oversee daily activities, and ensure superior service from our HVAC division. Reporting directly to company leadership, this role offers an opportunity to influence business growth and operational standards within Idaho’s dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
· Operational Leadership: Direct all facets of HVAC operations, including service dispatch, installation, repair, and maintenance scheduling, with a focus on operational efficiency and superior customer service.
· Team Management: Supervise recruitment, training, and professional development for HVAC technicians, installers, and support staff; conduct performance assessments and encourage a culture prioritizing safety and positive workplace relations.
· Financial Oversight: Administer budgets, monitor profit and loss statements, and introduce cost-control strategies to achieve profitability objectives.
· Customer Relations: Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners; resolve escalated concerns and foster repeat business through strategic client engagement initiatives.
· Compliance & Safety: Guarantee adherence to local regulations, industry standards (including EPA and NATE certifications), and corporate safety protocols.
· Business Development: Identify avenues for expansion, such as new services or market opportunities, and work collaboratively on marketing efforts to increase market share in Boise and adjacent regions.
· Inventory & Vendor Management: Manage inventory levels for HVAC components and equipment, and negotiate favorable agreements with suppliers.
Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum five years in HVAC management, including at least three years in a supervisory or general manager capacity; demonstrated success in a service-focused HVAC environment.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; HVAC certifications (such as NATE, EPA 608) required.
· Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills; proficiency in HVAC industry software (e.g., ServiceTitan, QuickBooks); thorough understanding of local building codes and energy efficiency regulations.
· Personal Attributes: Results-driven and adept at problem solving, with a proactive approach and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, seasonally influenced environment.
· Other: Valid driver’s license; successful completion of background check and drug screening.
