In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep production and facility equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production and building equipment using electrical, mechanical, and PLC knowledge.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
- Assist with new equipment installation and equipment modifications.
- Maintain facility areas including walkways, entryways, and general building upkeep.
- Complete tasks involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Support the Facilities Director in setting maintenance priorities.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Respond promptly to safety concerns and maintenance requests.
Essential Skills
- High School diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Formal training in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Moderate electrical skills and familiarity with PLCs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and moving equipment/furniture.
- Comfortable using computers for maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, 3 phase, 480V, installation, and mechanical tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
