About the Role
Central MEP Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience managing large-scale commercial electrical construction projects in a union environment.
You will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contract and union requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through completion

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams

Oversee procurement of materials and equipment

Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Ensure compliance with union agreements, safety standards, and local codes

Monitor field progress and address project risks proactively

Provide leadership and direction to foremen and field supervisors
Qualifications

8–15+ years of experience in electrical construction

Proven experience managing commercial electrical projects

Strong knowledge of union job site operations required

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience with project management software and scheduling tools

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
