Job DescriptionWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this contract role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing our company with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors warmly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer and manage incoming calls effectively, ensuring inquiries are addressed or routed correctly.
• Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Handle scheduling and appointment coordination efficiently to support smooth operations.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate orders to ensure necessary materials are available.
• Provide support to other departments as needed to facilitate overall office operations.
• Address customer concerns or questions with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
• Uphold confidentiality and a high level of professionalism while handling sensitive information.• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, showcasing strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using phone systems, scheduling software, and basic office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Capable of working independently while also being a team player.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other general computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
