Job DescriptionBased in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, Pivot Path Solutions, LLC is a government contracting and business solutioning firm that offers enterprise IT solutions, strategic planning, organizational development, and medical research and development services to help customers adapt and thrive in changing market conditions. Pivot Path Solutions is seeking an experienced End User Support Specialistto support a high-visibility program for a government agency. The End User Support Specialist will provide frontline technical assistance to ensure seamless IT service delivery across the organization. This role encompasses troubleshooting, user support, hybrid Azure Active Directory and Intune management, IT infrastructure maintenance, and user account administration. The specialist will work closely with end users, IT staff, and management to resolve issues efficiently, maintain accurate asset records, and support the organization’s security and operational goals.. This is on-site position in Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Support Services

Provide responsive customer and technical support by logging, managing, and resolving trouble tickets.

Analyze reported issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions; escalate complex cases to higher support tiers when needed.

Track incidents from initiation to closure, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

Deliver technical assistance in person, remotely, or through phone/email support channels.
2. Azure Active Directory & Intune Management

Administer and support user and device management within a hybrid Azure Active Directory environment.

Manage Microsoft Intune MDM operations, including compliance enforcement, application deployment, and device configuration.

Maintain security, identity, and policy configurations for Azure AD and Intune-managed devices.
3. IT Infrastructure & Asset Management

Provide Tier I/II support for desktop infrastructure and basic server-related issues.

Configure, image, and deploy PCs, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.

Perform data migration, backup, recovery, and setup for new or reassigned devices.

Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, ensuring data integrity.

Decommission and securely dispose of obsolete IT assets in accordance with organizational policy.
4. User Account Management

Create, modify, and manage accounts in on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD environments.

Administer user permissions, access controls, and profile configurations.

Support password resets and account recovery processes in compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience.

2+ years of experience in end user or service desk support.

Hands-on experience with hybrid Azure AD and Microsoft Intune MDM.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, OS, and application issues.
- Proficiency in Active Directory account management and IT asset lifecycle processes.
