PRECISION AUTO REPAIR LLC., is a growing and very busy local, family owned automotive repair shop.

Precision Auto Repair LLC. is the sister company of TRD MOTORS LLC. Currently, Precision Auto Repair jobs have been coming from the sales dept. However, we have grown very quickly and are expanding our company to service the local downtown Portland area by providing high end automotive retail services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and a strong background in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues while maintaining high standards of service quality.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize power tools and equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance on numerous makes, and model vehicles.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs and modifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for the customer.
  • Collaborate with other service technicians to enhance team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), to provide cutting-edge service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the shop environment.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
  • Previous experience as a service technician, particularly in diagnosing and repairing
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics processes and vehicle maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for various vehicle systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively transmit information to customers and team members.
