We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to medical malpractice, auto accidents, workers compensation and litigation. This role is essential in providing administrative support to attorneys, managing legal documents, and ensuring the smooth operation of the law office. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
 - Manage and organize legal documents, including drafting, proofreading, and reviewing contracts and other legal correspondence.
 - Maintain case files and document management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
 - Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases, including tracking deadlines and filing necessary documents.
 - Coordinate client interviews and maintain effective communication with clients regarding case updates.
 - Handle data entry tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all clerical duties, including filing and transcription.
 - Support litigation efforts by preparing trial binders, exhibits, and other necessary documentation for court appearances.
