  • Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004
  • Schedule: Hybrid – 4 times a month on-site. Training will be fully on-site; upon completion, you’ll be remote 1 day/week.
  • Employment Type: Temp to hire / 1-month contract with conversion opportunity—possible access to state benefits valued at over $20K+ in compensation, depending on your performance during the first 4–5 weeks on assignment.

What’s a typical day as a Legal Assistant II?
You will:

  • Verify incoming appeals and retrieve accurate exhibits for scheduled hearings.
  • Enter case documentation into the appropriate repositories.
  • Assist Administrative Law Judges with legal case research.
  • Interpret procedures needed for comprehensive research and analysis of case files prior to hearings.
  • Upload legal decisions and case dispositions so the department can take prompt action.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a legal setting or as a legal assistant preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with computers and document management systems.
