About the Position
We are seeking a 5-7 yr+ associate attorney (with commercial real estate experience preferred) to join our prestigious law firm in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and drafting skills with demonstrated experience in complex corporate, finance and/or real estate transactions to support our growing real estate practice group.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and negotiate complex real estate development transactions
- Draft and review real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, development agreements, leases, easements, and financing documents
- Conduct due diligence review of title, survey, and land use matters
- Advise clients on zoning, land use, and development regulations
- Support senior attorneys in complex real estate matters
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Research and analyze complex real estate law issues
- Prepare legal memoranda and client communications
- Coordinate with local counsel and consultants as needed
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Texas (or eligible for admission within 6 months)
- 5-7+ years of experience, with experience in real estate development transactions preferred
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial real estate development and finance
- Knowledge of Texas real estate law and regulations
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $250,000-$300,000
