LiquidKinetics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Splunk & Cribl Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering our Splunk and Cribl environments to ensure optimal performance and high availability. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide advanced analytics and data processing solutions for our clients in the defense and intelligence sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of log management, data ingestion, and visualization in Splunk, as well as experience with Cribl for data routing, shaping, and processing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize our existing data pipelines. This position requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also has the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Splunk and Cribl platforms to meet operational requirements.
- Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines to efficiently process large volumes of log data.
- Configure and manage Splunk data sources, dashboards, alerts, and reports for enhanced visibility.
- Utilize Cribl to shape, route, and process data to determine optimal data flows and storage.
- Collaborate with security and operations teams to ensure compliance with best practices and performance metrics.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to Splunk and Cribl environments.
- Document procedures, configurations, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing.
- Provide support and training for end-users to maximize the utilization of data analytics tools.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- Proven experience in managing Splunk environments, including data ingestion and visualization.
- Technical proficiency with Cribl for data routing and shaping.
- Strong understanding of log management and monitoring best practices.
- Experience in developing dashboards, alerts, and reports within Splunk.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
