2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic (2:00pm - 10:00pm) Located in Oakdale, MN
Must be willing to train on 1st shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) initially
2nd shift qualifies for a $2/hr differential
The pay range for this position is $22.89 - $37.13/hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Maintain production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.).
- Diagnose malfunctions, dismantle equipment, repair or replace defective parts, and test machinery.
- Lubricate and maintain machine tools and equipment.
- Interpret diagrams, manuals, and technical drawings to isolate and correct mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues.
- Fabricate or reproduce parts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and participate in special projects.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience in printing industry required.
- Ability to read blueprints, fabricate parts, and perform precise measurements.
- Computer literacy required; CNC milling and plasma cutting experience preferred.
- Welding and cutting torch experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
