Priceless Treasures Preschool and Childcare is looking for a caring, dependable, and team-oriented Assistant Teacher to join our Preschool Promise classroom!

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with preschool-aged children, can work well as part of a team, and is excited to support children’s learning and development.

Requirements:

• Must be at least Oregon Registry Step 5
  
  
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  
  
• Must meet Oregon DELC/Preschool Promise training requirements
  
  
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team
  
  
• Patient, nurturing, and comfortable supporting children with a variety of needs
  
  
• Able to follow classroom routines, lesson plans, and direction from the lead teacher
  
  

The role includes:

• Supporting the lead teacher throughout the day
  
  
• Helping with classroom activities, small groups, and learning experiences
  
  
• Supporting positive behavior and classroom routines
  
  
• Assisting with meals, transitions, playground time, and rest time
  
  
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
  
  
• Building positive relationships with children and families
