Job Title: Applications Expert – Merrick Production Software
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (onsite)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $200,000 annually

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Applications Expert with deep knowledge of Merrick production software to join our team and take ownership of managing and supporting this critical system. This role will focus on the ongoing administration, upgrades, and data management related to Merrick, ensuring it supports accurate, timely production reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with WellView, and SCADA knowledge is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for Merrick production software, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
- Manage system upgrades, patching, and data migrations related to Merrick.
- Collaborate with internal users and IT to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support.
- Ensure data integrity and coordinate with field and production teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation of workflows, configurations, and system changes.
- Support integrations between Merrick and other operational platforms, including WellView and SCADA systems.
- Work with vendors or consultants when needed to execute larger projects or resolve complex issues.
- Continuously evaluate system use and identify opportunities for improvements or automation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with Merrick production software in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong understanding of production operations, reporting, and data flow.
- Experience managing application upgrades, system configurations, and data migrations.
- Proficiency with WellView or similar well data management platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to or understanding of SCADA systems is a nice-to-have.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Oil & gas upstream operations background.
- Experience supporting field operations or working alongside production teams.
- SQL or reporting tool knowledge is a plus.
