We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a keen eye for safety, and a friendly attitude to provide excellent guest services. This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment while delivering positive experiences for all visitors. Prior lifeguard experience and certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required. The position involves performing pool maintenance and cleaning duties to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area continuously to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning, skimming, and chemical checks
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene and appearance
- Assist guests with questions or concerns, providing excellent guest services
- Heavy lifting may be required when handling equipment or supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role preferred
- Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard training required.
- Strong swimming ability with proficiency in water rescue techniques
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures is a plus
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to stay alert and attentive for extended periods
- Capable of heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies management
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, or lifting throughout shifts
