Job Summary:
Luxury apartment building located in North Bergen, New Jersey is looking to fill a full-time Concierge position. This role will be responsible for building security and front-line response and desk requests. Prior experience using BuildingLink is highly desired.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Interact with residents and guests in a professional and pleasant manner
- Professionally answer calls, take messages
- Receives all mail and packages and ensures proper distribution
- Liaise with building management and staff to respond to emergencies
- Monitors scheduled move-in/move-out processes
- Maintains log records of visitors, contractors, delivery personnel during shift
- Stays alert and undistracted to provide security and safety of building property and residents
- Maintains a clean and orderly front desk presence
Basic Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and in-person requests.
- Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
- Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
- Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
- Complete company required training courses as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years residential building experience preferred
- Experience using BuildingLink
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
- Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks
- Ability to multi-task and be a team player
- Proactive, outgoing, energetic, efficient
- Strong writing skills and pleasant telephone demeanor
