Safety Specialist / Quality Assurance Technician
This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Integrity Trade Services is hiring for a Safety Specialist / Quality Assurance Technicianwith a trusted technology manufacturing partner in Cedar Park. This role plays a critical part in promoting a safe working environment by overseeing safety practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement in health and safety standards across our manufacturing and operational sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workplace safety and quality assurance within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Job Title: Safety Specialist / Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Cedar Park, TX 78613
Pay Rate: $31/hr (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Safety Oversight (30%)
Manage and supervise safety activities to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. -
Compliance & Incident Response (30%)
Monitor and audit workspaces to ensure they meet internal and regulatory safety standards. Assist in accident investigations and corrective action planning. -
Documentation & Reporting (15%)
Facilitate data collection, generate safety reports, and maintain accurate safety records in compliance with OSHA, ETS-Lindgren, and customer requirements. -
Training & Engagement (15%)
Coordinate and deliver safety training programs, including onboarding for new hires. Lead and support the Employee Safety Committee initiatives. -
Hazardous Material Management (5%)
Oversee chemical handling, waste storage, and proper disposal in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. -
Environmental Reporting (5%)
Collect and compile environmental data to support internal and external reporting requirements.
Note: Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred

3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction safety

OSHA 30-Hour Certification or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Adaptability – Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where priorities may shift quickly.

Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations – Strong understanding of federal, state, and local workplace safety and environmental standards.

Experience with audits and inspections – Familiarity with internal and external safety audits or quality inspections.

Commitment to continuous improvement – Driven to identify opportunities for enhancing safety procedures and reducing risk.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This role involves working primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- The position requires regular walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Safety inspections may involve climbing, entering confined spaces, and working at heights.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as needed.
