POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Perform system database management tasks and coordinate with functional analysts, developers and other personnel to evaluate best solutions for business requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in Agile Methodology
- Prior federal work experience
- Experience with ETL process
- Proficient with SQL
- Familiarity with federal IT security controls and audit requests
- Great communication skills and a team player
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily/weekly RMAN backups
- Execute scripts associated with SE tickets and CRs
- Adhere to Change Management and Release Management process for bi-weekly release deployments
- Monitor Dataguard replication process
- Manage comprehensive schedule for Oracle quarterly CPU patch, cloning request, monthly database and filesystem space management/cleanup, capacity management, performance tuning and evaluation.
- Monitor, test, and report on Oracle EBS system integrity, security and compliance measures
- Evaluate critical Oracle EBS security issues
- Maintain Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
- Establish a backout plan for Tech Stack releases
- Monitor system resources (storage, memory and CPU capacity)
- Maintain version control for all environment configuration files.
- Maintain configuration documentation for each environment.
