Locations: New York or Los AngelesDirect Counsel is seeking a Private Funds Associate Attorney to join a leading AmLaw 100 firm with a top-tier Investment Funds & Private Capital practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market-recognized team representing premier asset managers, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors.
What You’ll Do:

Advise on all aspects of private equity fund formation, structuring, and capital raising

Work directly with sophisticated fund sponsors and investors

Support clients across a full range of private capital strategies

Collaborate with a nationally regarded group known for excellence in funds work
What We’re Looking For:

2–8 years of experience in private equity funds

Strong academic background and prior law firm experience

Admission in good standing in New York or California, depending on office

Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-service skills
Compensation:
The expected salary range is $235,000–$435,000, depending on experience, seniority, and location.
