Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is proud to partner with a prestigious law firm seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join their office in New York City. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to work alongside talented attorneys on a wide range of corporate matters and complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with corporate governance, business planning, and financial and transactional matters.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents related to entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate compliance.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with closing processes.
  • Maintain corporate minute books, resolutions, and other governance documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to support smooth transaction workflows.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, with a focus on governance and transactional work.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive team player with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is strongly preferred.

Compensation: salary range- $76,500 to $179,000
