Apogee Solutions, a woman-owned small business, is seeking a Military Analyst for Future Force Integration Division in Fort Rucker, AL to support the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), which is responsible for overall direction, guidance and execution of Aviation Branch functions related to Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) development, integration and synchronization. AVCOE maintains a total Army perspective in managing programs and keeps the Army leadership fully apprised of program status to include problems, which could affect the Army’s ultimate commitment to aviation programs.
The Military Analyst for Future Force Integration Division will provide detailed analysis, assessments, and synchronization with Army Futures Command’s Aviation Capability Development Integration Directorate (ACDID) and AVCOE directorates, and other Aviation enterprise stakeholders to inform future Aviation capability development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert business, analytical, and technical support to the AVCOE G-5, directly contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals.
- Provide regular and proactive communication with AFC and CDID personnel.
- Ensure accurate representation of emerging requirements and capability gaps.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of impacts to Organization and Personnel (DOTMLPF-P) and ensure findings are clear and concise.
- Develop recommendations that are well-supported, actionable, and aligned with future force development efforts.
- Provide effective coordination with Transformation Integrator on Doctrine and Material (DOTMLPF-P).
- Ensure proactive identification of future aviation needs.
Requirements:
- US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check, to include Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquires (NACI)
- Active, adjudicated SECRET Security Clearance documented in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Must have at least 10 years of experience as a Planner/Military Analyst in Army Aviation, expertise may come from rotary wing, fixed wing, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations
- Experience stemming from service at the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), Combined Arms Center (CAC), Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC), or Army Futures Command (AFC) is preferred
- Must be an energetic collaborator, who can integrate people from different teams and echelons, clearly articulate project outcomes, track deliverables and project status, and brief on overall project status
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, mission-driven settings while maintaining accuracy, discretion, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations
- Possess strong business acumen and professional judgment, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
