Job Description

The Feed Mill Industrial Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs a mixed portfolio of production machinery, material-handling equipment, and packaging equipment. Working independently and as part of a maintenance crew while reporting to a supervisor, this role uses a CMMS platform and other systems to support daily maintenance activities and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production, material-handling, and packaging equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues.
Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
Document maintenance activities using a CMMS platform and other systems.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Technical certificate in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience performing preventive maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience with welding and fabrication, including MIG/TIG welding.
Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Understanding of safety compliance practices.
Experience with HVAC systems.
