Kinnaman’s Hot Rods is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic with strong knowledge of classic vehicles.
We specialize in restoration, customization, performance upgrades, and complete rebuilds of classic cars—and also servicing newer vehicles. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and doing things the right way.
Salary Range: $62,400 - $72,800

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose, repair, restore, and customize classic vehicles

Perform tune-ups, upgrades, and complete engine rebuilds

Work on carbureted engines and older ignition systems

Diagnose and repair electrical systems on classic and modern vehicles

Troubleshoot suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain systems

Diagnose manual and automatic transmissions

Perform general mechanical repairs on newer vehicles as needed
What We’re Looking For

Strong, well-rounded automotive knowledge and diagnostic ability

Proven experience working on older vehicles and carbureted engines

Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting

Experience with classic suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems

Ability to work independently and solve complex mechanical problems
