Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to contribute to the development and support of ServiceNow platforms in Blue Ash, Ohio. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders and business analysts to create impactful solutions, focusing on workflows, integrations, and process automation. Candidates should have a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of ServiceNow tools and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow workflows, forms, and process automation to meet business needs.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and web-based protocols.
• Create and update reports, dashboards, and analytics within the ServiceNow platform.
• Utilize modern development tools and techniques, including JavaScript and Flow Designer, to improve system functionality.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance.
• Implement and manage ITSM and SecOps modules to support enterprise-level operations.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow capabilities to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices in ServiceNow development.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow development experience in large organizations.
• Proficiency in ITSM and SecOps modules, including vulnerability response.
• Strong expertise in building reports, dashboards, and analytics using ServiceNow.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and integration APIs.
• Familiarity with web-based protocols and standards, such as JavaScript.
• ServiceNow certifications, such as System Administrator or Application Developer, are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
