AUTO BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR – HIRING NOW
$55,000 – $95,000+ Annually | Based on Experience & Performance
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator to join a busy, high-volume collision repair facility. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands insurance estimating, repair processes, and customer communication.
The Estimator plays a critical role in customer satisfaction, repair accuracy, and shop profitability.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates for collision damage

Write estimates using industry-standard estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar)

Work directly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal repair teams
-
Explain repair processes, timelines, and costs clearly to customers

Supplement estimates as needed based on tear-down findings

Ensure estimates meet insurance guidelines and shop standards

Maintain accurate documentation and repair records

Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow

Deliver high-level customer service throughout the repair process
REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Estimator

Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and materials

Experience working with insurance companies and claims processes

Proficiency with estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex preferred)

Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
-
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Estimated annual income range: $55,000 – $95,000+, depending on experience, shop volume, and pay structure
