Responsibilities:

  • Gather and extract data from external sources, particularly security firms' badge swipe records and various other third party tools, to obtain information on office utilization.
  • Cleanse, validate, and manipulate the data using Excel or other data analysis tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to office utilization rates.
  • Develop and maintain Excel models and templates for processing and analyzing large datasets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Facilities, and Finance, to gather additional relevant data and insights for comprehensive analysis.
  • Create visually appealing and informative reports, graphs, and charts using Excel to present office utilization rates to the CEO on a monthly basis.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for optimizing office space allocation.
  • Monitor and track office utilization metrics over time, identifying any changes or deviations and conducting root cause analysis when necessary.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and office space management to suggest innovative approaches for improving office utilization rates.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on Excel-based data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, formulas, and data visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of data manipulation, cleansing, and validation techniques.
  • Familiarity with data mining and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with office space management and utilization concepts is a plus.
