Responsibilities:
- Gather and extract data from external sources, particularly security firms' badge swipe records and various other third party tools, to obtain information on office utilization.
- Cleanse, validate, and manipulate the data using Excel or other data analysis tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to office utilization rates.
- Develop and maintain Excel models and templates for processing and analyzing large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Facilities, and Finance, to gather additional relevant data and insights for comprehensive analysis.
- Create visually appealing and informative reports, graphs, and charts using Excel to present office utilization rates to the CEO on a monthly basis.
- Provide actionable recommendations for optimizing office space allocation.
- Monitor and track office utilization metrics over time, identifying any changes or deviations and conducting root cause analysis when necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and office space management to suggest innovative approaches for improving office utilization rates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on Excel-based data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, formulas, and data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Solid understanding of data manipulation, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with data mining and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with office space management and utilization concepts is a plus.
