Under the direction of the VP of IT the Director of IT – Security, Infrastructure & Compliance will lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing governance of good2grow’s technology environment. This role oversees all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports the company’s growth, safeguards critical systems and data, and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations. As a key business partner and member of the leadership team, the Director will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and Commercial teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions that enable business success.

Candidates must reside in the Atlanta area to be considered for this role.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Strategic Leadership
Shape and execute the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance strategies in alignment with overall business objectives. Provide a forward-looking technology vision that supports innovation, scalability, and growth.

Infrastructure & Operations
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of robust, secure, and scalable IT systems—including cloud environments, networks, endpoints, and collaboration tools. Ensure system performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.

Cybersecurity
Establish and continuously enhance security frameworks, protocols, and tools to safeguard company data, networks, and systems. Monitor evolving threats, lead incident response efforts, and foster a security-first mindset across the organization.

Compliance & Governance
Develop and uphold IT policies and controls aligned with key regulatory and industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS). Manage internal and external audits and drive timely remediation of compliance findings.

Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT team. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technology solutions effectively support operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.

Education/Experience

Required:

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with focus on infrastructure, security, and compliance
  • Proven success leading IT operations in a mid-sized, growth-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise-level security programs and compliance frameworks
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure and enterprise technology architecture

Preferred:

  • Experience leading IT teams through digital transformation and cloud modernization initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
