Job DescriptionAerotek is hiring for a MIG Welder/Fitter for a growing company in Iuka, MS. This position is a 1st shift opportunity paying $18-21/hr depending on experience. This role is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with weekly attendance bonuses once permanent.

Job Description
-Candidates will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel components according to blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
-Performs FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) on structural steel parts for moving bridges, ensures proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy, and operates welding and fabrication equipment safely.
-Reads and interprets engineering drawings, measures and cuts materials, and inspects completed welds to meet quality and safety standards.
-Works independently and as part of a fabrication team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
